Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 13 , 2025

Resyfy AI (headquartered in Delaware, USA) (“Resyfy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our consumer-facing AI software-as-a-service product (the “Service”), and outlines your rights and choices. We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), among others. By using Resyfy AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect personal data that you provide to us, data that is collected automatically about your use of our Service, and information from third parties, as described below:

  • Information You Provide: When you create an account, we ask for personal information such as your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you will provide payment details; however, payment information (e.g. credit card numbers) is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and not stored on our systems (aside from possibly basic billing details like the last four digits or a transaction ID). You may also provide us with other information when you use our Service (for example, by filling out your profile or contacting support).

  • Account and Profile Data: Because users must create accounts to use Resyfy, we collect information associated with your account, such as your username and password (which is stored in an encrypted form), and any content you choose to upload or input into our Service (for example, career or resume information if you use our career management features).

  • Usage Data: We automatically collect certain data about how you interact with our website and Service. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages or features you access, the dates/times of your visits, and other diagnostic information. For example, we may log when you log in and what actions you take within the application (such as features used or links clicked). We also collect information about your device via cookies and similar technologies as described below. Usage Data helps us analyze performance and improve our Service.

  • Cookies and Tracking Information: Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and gather analytics information. Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. Some cookies are necessary for our site to function (for example, to keep you logged in or remember your preferences), and these are always enabled. We also use analytics cookies (such as those set by Google Analytics) to understand how users use our site, which pages are popular, and how we can improve the user experience. These analytics cookies may collect information like your interactions on the site and an approximate location (based on IP) but do not directly identify you by name

resyfy.ai. For more details, see the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section below. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but note that if you disable certain cookies, some features of the Service may not function properly.

  • Third-Party Services Data: We use certain third-party services as part of our Service infrastructure, which may result in us receiving some information from them:

    • Payment Processor (Stripe): When you make payments, you are doing so through Stripe. Stripe will collect and process your payment information (such as credit card number and billing address) on our behalf. We receive confirmation of your payment and basic details (like your name, email, and whether payment was successful), but we do not receive or store your full credit card number or financial account data. Stripe may also collect additional data about your transaction for fraud prevention and compliance. (See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for more details on their data practices.)

    • Website Host and Platform (Wix): Our website is built on the Wix platform. This means that any data you enter on our website (such as contacting us or signing up) may be stored in Wix’s databases and subject to Wix’s processing. Wix may collect technical data about your visit through its built-in analytics and cookie tools. Wix stores data on secure servers and is under contractual obligation to process personal data only as we direct and to implement appropriate security measures.

    • Analytics Provider (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to collect information about website usage, as mentioned above. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to generate reports for us on how visitors use our website. Google may receive information such as your IP address and device information, which Google uses to provide aggregated analytics to us. (Google Analytics does not give us individual personal details about you; it provides aggregated statistics resyfy.ai.) Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our site is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

    • AI Infrastructure (Google Gemini Pro): Resyfy’s AI features are powered in part by Google’s AI infrastructure (e.g., Google Gemini Pro). This means that when you use AI-driven functions within our Service (for example, to analyze or generate career content), the input data you provide for that function may be sent to Google’s servers for processing. Google will process that data on our behalf to return the AI results. We ensure that any personal data shared with Google’s AI platform is handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements (under our agreement with Google). Google is contractually bound to use such data only to provide services to Resyfy AI and not for its own purposes. For more information on Google’s data handling for its AI services, you can refer to Google’s AI data privacy terms.

We may also receive information from other sources. For example, if in the future we offer an option to log in or connect via a third-party account (such as Google or LinkedIn), we would receive information from that third party (like your name and email from a Google or LinkedIn profile) with your consent. This policy will be updated to reflect any such integrations.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes, all aimed at providing you with a functional and improved service:

  • To Provide the Service: We use data like your name and email to create and maintain your account, verify your identity when you log in, and to provide the core Service features you request. For example, we use your information to allow you to save and manage your career achievements and generate career portfolios. Payment information is used to process your subscription fees via Stripe and manage billing.

  • To Improve and Personalize the Service: Usage data and analytics help us understand how our users interact with Resyfy AI, so we can troubleshoot issues, test improvements, and develop new features. For example, we might analyze usage patterns to improve our user interface or to ensure our AI features are providing relevant results. We may also use your information to personalize your experience – for instance, by tailoring content or recommendations to you (such as suggesting career opportunities or tips based on the information in your profile) resyfy.ai.

  • To Communicate with You: We use contact information (like your email) to send service-related communications. These include transactional emails (e.g. account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts), alerts or notifications about important updates or changes to the Service, and customer support responses when you reach out to us. With your permission or as permitted by law, we may also send you promotional emails about new features or offers; you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

  • To Provide Customer Support: If you contact us with a question or for help, we will use your information (like your support request details and contact info) to resolve your issue and follow up with you. This may include reviewing your usage logs or account info to diagnose problems.

  • To Ensure Security and Prevent Fraud: We may use personal data to monitor and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities. For example, we might use certain information to verify accounts, detect suspicious logins, enforce our terms of service, and protect the integrity of our platform. This is both for your protection and ours.

  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: We process and retain personal information as needed to comply with laws and regulations. For instance, we may retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, or disclose information when required by law (such as responding to a valid subpoena or requests from law enforcement).

  • To Exercise or Defend Legal Claims: If necessary, we may use your data in connection with legal claims, audits, compliance, or other such purposes, including enforcing our agreements or investigating potential violations of our Terms of Use.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes above and will not process it in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes without your consent. If we intend to use your data for a new purpose not described here, we will provide you with notice and, if required, obtain your consent.

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we must have a valid legal basis to process your personal data under the GDPR/UK GDPR. Depending on the context, Resyfy AI relies on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a Contract: Most of our data processing is to provide you with the Service you requested. When you sign up and agree to our Terms of Service, a contract is formed between you and Resyfy. We need to process your personal data (like your account info, payment, and the content you input) to perform this contract – i.e., to provide and support the Service. For example, using your email to log you in, or processing payment details for your subscription, is done on the basis that it’s necessary for the contract.

  • Consent: We will rely on your consent in certain cases. For instance, if we send you promotional emails, we do so based on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time). Similarly, for certain cookies or analytics in jurisdictions where consent is required, we will obtain your consent. When we process any sensitive personal data (if you provide any, for example), we would do so based on your explicit consent. Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time as described in Your Rights below, and we will not continue processing your data for that purpose thereafter.

  • Legitimate Interests: We may process your data as necessary for our legitimate interests, provided those are not overridden by your data protection rights. Our legitimate interests include improving and securing our Service, understanding how it is used, and promoting our business. For example, we have a legitimate interest in collecting usage data to improve functionality and user experience, and in using certain analytics and security measures to protect against misuse. When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider and balance any potential impact on your rights. We do not use legitimate interest as a basis if we judge that your fundamental rights and freedoms outweigh our interests.

  • Legal Obligation: In some cases, we need to process personal data to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject. For example, we may retain transaction records to satisfy financial reporting laws, or disclose information to authorities if lawfully required to do so.

(Note: There are additional legal bases under GDPR – like “vital interests” or “public interest” – but these generally do not apply to our day-to-day processing. We will notify you if we ever rely on those bases.)

Sharing of Information

We value your privacy and handle your personal data with care. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for profit (no “sale” of data as defined under the CCPA). However, we do share your information in certain situations to run our business and provide our Service, as outlined here:

  • Service Providers (Processors): We share personal information with trusted third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, under our instructions. These service providers help us operate and support Resyfy AI and are bound by contracts to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. Key service providers include:

    • Stripe: As noted, we use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe will receive your payment-related information to process transactions. Stripe is a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant processor, meaning they adhere to strict security standards for handling payment data.

    • Wix.com: Wix is our website hosting platform. Data that you submit through our website (account info, form entries, etc.) may be stored on Wix’s servers. Wix may also deploy cookies or analytics tools on our site (via Wix’s platform services) to enable website functionality and analytics. Wix acts as a data processor, storing and processing data as needed to keep our website running (e.g., database storage and content management).

    • Google Analytics: Google Analytics acts as our analytics provider, collecting usage data as described in Information We Collect. Google acts as our agent in analyzing web traffic and providing us aggregated insights. Google may set cookies or similar trackers to perform this service. We have configured Google Analytics in compliance with privacy requirements (for example, by engaging IP anonymization if applicable) so that no directly identifying information (like your name or email) is sent to Google.

    • Google Cloud (Gemini Pro): Google also provides the AI computing infrastructure for certain features (Gemini Pro). When our servers communicate with Google’s AI platform to process your requests, the data shared (e.g., the text of a query you submit for AI processing) is under strict controls. Google is prohibited from using that data for any purpose other than to provide the AI computation service to Resyfy. We ensure such transfers are protected (see International Data Transfers below).

    • Other Vendors: We may use additional vendors for things like email delivery, customer support ticketing, or cloud storage/hosting (aside from Wix). For example, if we use an email service to send out newsletters, your name and email would be shared with that service solely for sending our communications. All such vendors are vetted for strong security and privacy commitments.

  • Business Transfers: If Resyfy AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We would ensure that any such entity is bound to respect your personal data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We will notify you (for example, via email or a notice on our site) of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your information in such an event.

  • Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights: We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or government request, to protect and defend the rights or property of Resyfy (including enforcing our Terms of Use), to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service (such as fraud or security issues), or to protect the safety of our users or the public. For example, we might disclose data in response to a court order or subpoena, or to report suspected illegal activity.

  • With Your Consent or Direction: Apart from the cases above, we will share your personal data with others only with your consent or at your direction. For instance, if we introduce a feature where you can opt to share parts of your Resyfy profile or portfolio with prospective employers or on social media, we would do so only if you choose to utilize that feature (i.e., you direct us to share that information).

  • Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may share information that has been aggregated or anonymized in such a way that it can no longer be linked to you personally. For example, we might publish usage statistics or insights (e.g., overall trends about users’ career development activities) that do not contain any personal data. Such aggregated data is not considered personal and may be shared with partners or the public for research or marketing purposes.

We require all third parties with whom we share personal data to protect it in accordance with applicable law. We do not allow our service providers to use your personal data for their own marketing or other purposes not related to the services they are providing to us.

International Data Transfers

Resyfy AI is based in the United States, but we serve users around the globe. This means your personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States. Specifically, if you are located outside of the U.S., your data will likely be processed on servers in the U.S. (where our company and many of our service providers are located) or other countries. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country, and in some cases may not be deemed as protective. For example, personal data of EU users is typically transferred to the U.S. (a jurisdiction that the EU does not consider to have adequate data protection on its own).

However, when we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses: For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland to the U.S. or other countries not deemed “adequate” by regulators, we rely on European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or their UK equivalent. These are contractual commitments between companies transferring personal data, designed to ensure that the data is afforded the same level of protection as under EU law. In practice, this means that our agreements with service providers like Google or Wix include SCCs (or comparable safeguards) obligating them to protect EU personal data.

  • Data Processing Agreements: We have Data Processing Agreements in place with our major third-party processors (like Stripe, Google, Wix), which include provisions required by GDPR for international data transfers and processing. These agreements incorporate the SCCs or other approved transfer mechanisms, as mentioned above.

  • EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework: If applicable and once fully in effect, we (or some of our U.S.-based service providers) may choose to certify under the new EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) or similar frameworks, which establish an approved mechanism for data transfer. (We will update this Policy if we certify to such a framework in the future.)

  • Your Explicit Consent in Certain Cases: In the rare case we need to transfer your data where no other legal safeguard is available, we would do so only with your explicit consent (for example, if you initiate a transfer or request a service that involves such a transfer). Note that using our Service as an international user inherently involves transferring your data to the U.S., as explained above. We will always ensure any transfer is done in compliance with GDPR requirements (e.g., using an Article 49 derogation like contract necessity or explicit consent, as appropriate).

Regardless of where your data is processed, we will protect it as described in this Privacy Policy. Resyfy AI maintains technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data, and our service providers are required to do the same. If you have questions about our international data transfers, please contact us (see Contact Information below).

Your Rights and Choices

You have rights regarding your personal information, and we want you to be in control of how your data is used. These rights vary depending on your location and the applicable laws. Below we outline key privacy rights you have, and how you can exercise them:

Rights for Individuals in the EU/UK and Other Regions (GDPR Rights)

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the following rights under the GDPR (and analogous laws):

  • Right to Be Informed: You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data. We fulfill this right through this Privacy Policy and related notices.

  • Right of Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to obtain a copy of that data. This is sometimes called a "Data Subject Access Request." We will provide you with a copy of your data, along with information on how it’s being used, subject to some exceptions (for example, we may not include data that would disclose information about another individual).

  • Right to Rectification: If any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it. You can also update some of your information directly by logging into your account settings.

  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances (also known as the "right to be forgotten"). For example, you can ask us to delete your data if it’s no longer necessary for the purposes for which we collected it, or if you withdraw consent (where applicable) and we have no other legal basis to continue processing. Note that this right is not absolute – sometimes we may retain certain information where required by law or where an exception applies (see Data Retention below). Account Deletion: You may delete your Resyfy AI account at any time through the account settings interface or by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove your profile information and uploaded content from our live systems, though we may retain minimal information as needed for legal or internal business purposes (as permitted by law).

  • Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we restrict or pause the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances – for instance, while we verify your data correction request or assess an objection you raised.

  • Right to Object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in some cases. You can object at any time to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, and we will honor that request (for example, you can unsubscribe from our marketing emails and we will stop sending them). You can also object if we are processing your data based on legitimate interests or for a task in the public interest; in such cases, we will review your objection and stop or adjust processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the processing is needed for legal claims.

  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to obtain your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to have that data transmitted to another controller where technically feasible. In plain terms, this allows you to take the data you provided to us (or data generated by your activities) and reuse it elsewhere. For example, you could ask for an export of the information you entered into Resyfy AI, so you can store it or use it in another service.

  • Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Decisions: Resyfy AI does not make any solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. If we ever engage in automated decision-making (including profiling) that could significantly affect you, you would have the right to not be subject to such decisions without human intervention, and to express your point of view or contest the decision. (Currently, our AI features assist you in making decisions or creating content, but we are not making decisions about you without human review.)

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: If we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. For example, you can withdraw your consent to receive marketing emails by unsubscribing, or withdraw consent for optional data collection by changing your preferences. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing done before the withdrawal.

  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe we have infringed your data protection rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (such as the Data Protection Authority in your country, e.g., the ICO in the UK, or a Data Protection Authority in an EU member state). We encourage you to contact us first, so we can address your concerns directly, but this right is available to you at any time.

Rights for California Residents (CCPA and CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you are entitled to certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments (including the CPRA):

  • Right to Know: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share (note: we do not sell your data). This includes the right to request that we disclose to you the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You may make a request up to twice in a 12-month period, free of charge.

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you (with some exceptions). Once we receive and confirm a verifiable deletion request, we will delete (and instruct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies. For example, we may retain information needed to complete a transaction you requested, to detect security incidents, to comply with legal obligations, or other reasons allowed by the CCPA.

  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. Upon a verifiable request, we will correct the information if required by law.

  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. “Sharing” in this context refers to sharing your data for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising) purposes. However, Resyfy AI does not sell personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Therefore, there is no need for you to opt out; we treat all users’ data as opted-out of sale/share by default. If this policy changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms (such as a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website).

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: The CCPA, as amended, gives California consumers the right to limit the use or disclosure of “sensitive personal information” if a business uses it for purposes not necessary to provide the services. Sensitive personal information can include things like account login credentials, precise geolocation, or financial account info. Resyfy AI’s collection of sensitive info is limited (we may handle things like payment card info via Stripe, which is used only for providing the service). We do not use sensitive personal data for purposes like inferring characteristics about you or showing targeted ads; we only use such data for necessary business purposes (e.g., processing payments securely). Thus, the right to limit use is generally not applicable, as we do not use sensitive data in a manner that California law would allow you to limit beyond our existing practices. If you have any concerns about sensitive data, please contact us.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means we will not deny you our services, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service just because you exercised your privacy rights. (If you request deletion of certain data that is necessary to deliver the Service, we may need to deactivate or limit your account accordingly, but we will explain such consequences and it is not discrimination; it’s simply a result of your request.)

  • California “Shine the Light”: Separate from the CCPA, California’s “Shine the Light” law allows users to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. As noted above, Resyfy does not share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing without your consent. California residents may contact us for any questions or requests regarding these practices.

Exercising Your Rights: To exercise the rights above, please contact us using the information in the Contact Information section. For your security and to prevent fraud, we will need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests (especially for access, deletion, or copy requests). This may involve asking you to log into your account or provide additional information. If you are a California resident, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require proof of the agent’s authority and verification of your identity. We endeavor to respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by law (generally within 30-45 days for GDPR requests, and within 45 days for CCPA requests, with the possibility of a 45-day extension).

Your Choices: In addition to formal rights, you have various choices about your personal data:

  • Account Information: You can review and update certain personal information by logging into your Resyfy account and editing your profile. If you need to change an account email address or have trouble updating information, you can contact support for help.

  • Marketing Communications: If you are subscribed to any marketing or newsletter, you can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in those emails or by contacting us. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications (such as billing notices or security alerts) as these are not promotional.

  • Cookies Preferences: As discussed, you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Many browsers allow you to refuse new cookies or delete existing ones. You can also use browser extensions or settings to block certain trackers. Additionally, when required by law, we will present you with a cookie consent banner or settings on our site; you can use that tool to customize your cookie preferences. Keep in mind that essential cookies cannot be turned off because they are necessary for the site to function resyfy.ai.

  • Do Not Track: Some browsers have “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. At this time, our website does not respond to DNT signals, in line with many websites, because there is not yet a common standard for what sites should do when receiving such signals. We continue to monitor developments around DNT and may update our practices as standards emerge.

If you have any questions about your privacy rights or need assistance exercising them, please contact us at any time. We are here to help and committed to honoring your rights.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, and to satisfy any applicable legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. In practice, this means:

  • Active Account Data: For as long as you have an active account with Resyfy AI, we will keep the personal information you have provided and data generated through your use of the Service. This is necessary to provide you with the Service (e.g., to maintain your profile and content). If you remain a customer, we will typically retain your data until you delete it or request deletion, or until your account becomes inactive for an extended period as determined by us.

  • Account Deletion: If you choose to delete your account (or if you request us to delete your personal data), we will remove or anonymize your personal information from our live databases, except for information we are required or permitted to retain by law. For example, we may keep information necessary for legal compliance: financial transaction records are generally kept for a number of years to comply with tax and accounting laws. We may also retain certain data to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or as needed to protect our legal rights (for instance, information about a banned account may be retained to prevent that user from re-registering in violation of our Terms).

  • Usage Data: Usage Data (analytics data) is generally stored in aggregated form and may be retained indefinitely for historical analysis. If we store any raw usage logs that can be tied to you, we will either delete or anonymize those after a relatively short period once the data is no longer needed for Service improvement. For example, server logs containing IP addresses may be retained for a few weeks for security monitoring and then deleted or anonymized. Aggregate data that no longer identifies any individual may be retained longer for business analysis. In general, we retain Usage Data for a shorter period except when it’s used for security or improving functionality, or if we are legally required to retain it.

  • Backups: Please note that residual copies of your information might persist in our backup systems. If we restore data from a backup, we will endeavor to honor any previously completed deletion requests. Our backups are kept securely and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery.

  • Payment Information: We do not store full payment card details ourselves, as Stripe processes those. Stripe may retain your payment data in accordance with their own retention policies (for example, to comply with financial regulations). We retain basic payment records (like invoices, payment history, and subscription status) for bookkeeping and to handle any billing disputes or refunds.

  • Retention for Legal Issues: If we are under a legal obligation to retain data (such as an open investigation, legal hold, or in response to a legal request), or if retention is advisable under applicable statutes of limitations, we will retain the data as necessary before securely disposing of it.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal data, we will either delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you, or if neither is feasible (for example, because personal data is stored in backups), then we will securely store your personal data and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

As mentioned earlier, Resyfy AI and our third-party partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and Service. This section provides more detail about those technologies and your choices.

What Cookies Are: Cookies are small data files placed on your device (computer or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Other tracking technologies include web beacons (tiny graphics embedded in pages or emails) and pixels or tags that serve a similar function. Our Service may use these in addition to cookies for things like counting users who have visited a page or opened an email.

How We Use Cookies: We use cookies for several reasons:

  • Essential Cookies: These are necessary for the website and Service to function properly

resyfy.ai. For example, when you sign in, we use a cookie to maintain your session so you don’t have to log in again on every page. Essential cookies may also be used for security (to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of accounts) and to enable core features. These cookies are generally provided by our platform (Wix) or our own Service and are session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or short-term persistent cookies.

  • Preferences: We might use cookies to remember your preferences, such as your language or any settings you choose on our site. This makes your experience more convenient (for instance, avoiding the need to select the same options each time you use the Service).

  • Analytics Cookies: As noted, we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to collect information about how visitors use our site. This information (such as pages visited, time spent, interactions, and referring sites) helps us analyze web traffic and improve our Service. The cookies used by our analytics providers may track things like how you came to our site and your on-site behavior, but they do not collect your name, email, or account passwords. Google Analytics may use some of the data it collects for its own purposes (see Google’s policies), but we have configured it not to use data for ad personalization on our site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by adjusting cookie settings as described below.

  • Advertising Cookies: Currently, Resyfy AI does not utilize any advertising or marketing cookies on our site. We do not show third-party ads, and we are not engaged in retargeting campaigns at this time. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain any necessary consents. (Our Cookie Policy page will reflect the categories of cookies in use.)

  • Wix and Other Third-Party Cookies: Because our site is built on Wix, some cookies may be set by Wix’s platform or apps. Wix may place cookies to enable platform features and measure performance. Additionally, if our site integrates content or plugins from other providers (for example, a social media share button, or an embedded video from YouTube), those third parties may set cookies as well. For instance, visiting a page with a YouTube video might set YouTube cookies on your device. Any such third-party cookie usage is governed by the privacy policy of the third party, not directly by Resyfy. Wix has informed us (and we hereby inform you) that third-party services offered through the Wix platform (like Google Analytics or others from the Wix App Market) may have their own tracking technologies and privacy policies. We encourage you to review Wix’s Privacy Policy and the privacy notices of any third-party services we use.

Cookie Choices: On your first visit to our site (and periodically thereafter), you may see a cookie consent banner if required by your jurisdiction. You can use that to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Regardless of the banner, you have the following controls:

  • Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. You can typically set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to prompt you before accepting. You can also delete cookies that have already been set. Consult your browser’s help documentation for instructions. Keep in mind, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Service. For example, if you block all cookies, you may not be able to log in or some features might not work (since essential cookies would be blocked).

  • Do Not Track: As mentioned, we currently do not respond to DNT signals. Use the other methods here to manage cookies.

  • Opt-Out Mechanisms: For analytics cookies, you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically (via the browser add-on provided by Google). For any future advertising cookies, we will provide relevant opt-out links (such as Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance opt-outs) if applicable.

  • Cookie Policy: Please see our dedicated Cookie Policy page for more details on the specific cookies in use and their purposes. That page lists categories of cookies (e.g., necessary, analytics, etc.) and may be updated as we add or change cookies.

By using our site without disabling cookies (or opting out, where applicable), you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies as described here. If you have questions about our use of cookies or how to manage them, you can contact us for more information.

Data Security

Resyfy AI takes data security seriously and has implemented a range of measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We follow industry best practices to secure our systems, including but not limited to:

  • Encryption: Our website and app use HTTPS encryption (TLS) to protect data in transit between your device and our servers. This means any personal data you send us (such as login credentials or entered information) is encrypted during transmission. We also employ encryption or hashing for sensitive data at rest where appropriate (for example, passwords are stored in hashed form, and payment details are handled by Stripe which is PCI compliant).

  • Access Controls: We limit access to personal information to employees, contractors, and service providers who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our Service. Those who have access are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations. Our team members are trained on data security practices.

  • Secure Hosting: We utilize reputable cloud services and hosting providers (like Wix and Google Cloud) that employ robust security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.). Wix stores data on secure servers behind firewalls, and Google Cloud maintains high security standards.

  • PCI Compliance for Payments: Any payment transactions are handled through Stripe, which is certified to PCI-DSS standards. This set of standards ensures the secure handling of credit card information.

  • Monitoring and Testing: We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. We use up-to-date protection measures and periodically assess our system security. Security patches are applied promptly to software and infrastructure.

  • Anonymization and Pseudonymization: Where feasible, we anonymize or pseudonymize personal data, especially in development and testing environments.

  • Response Plan: We have a data breach response plan in place. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and/or relevant authorities as required by law, and take steps to mitigate any harm.

While we strive to protect your information, it’s important to note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You should also play a role in keeping your information safe by maintaining a strong password for your Resyfy account and not sharing it. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you suspect your account has been compromised), please contact us immediately.

Children’s Privacy

Resyfy AI is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. In addition, if you are in the European Union, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction that imposes a higher age threshold for privacy purposes, you must be at least that age (e.g., 16 in the EU/UK) for us to lawfully collect your personal data without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 13 (and in the EU/UK, under 16).

If you are under 13 years old, please do not register for an account or provide us with any personal information. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under the applicable age, we will promptly delete such data from our records. Parents or guardians who believe that Resyfy AI might have collected information from their child under the age threshold should contact us immediately so that we can investigate and delete the information.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirement. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age if we suspect a user is underage.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will post the updated policy on our website and update the “Last Updated” date at the top. If the changes are material, we will take additional steps to notify you of the update, which may include posting a notice on our site’s homepage or sending you a direct notification (such as via email or a message through the Service).

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Any changes will become effective when the updated Privacy Policy is posted, unless stated otherwise. If you continue to use Resyfy AI after the new Privacy Policy has taken effect, it will signify that you have read and understood the changes.

In the event we would ever want to use personal data in a manner materially different from what was stated at the time of collection, we would notify affected individuals and, if required by law, seek consent.
